The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) granted numbering resources to Fast Corporation S.L.R., Vitanic Ro S.R.L. and Romania Data Systems S.A.

 

Vitanic Ro S.R.L. requested and was granted 410,000 national geographic numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for fixed telephony services with national coverage. Also, this company was granted blocks of 1000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for various services (green numbers, televoting, prepaid cards, virtual cards, universal access numbers, access to data and Internet networks) as well as blocks of 1000 premium numbers within the 0Z=09 domain for services such as entertainment, games and telephone contests; general, business and marketing information; adult entertainment. This company was also granted the 1051 two-step carrier selection code and the 1651 one-step carrier selection code.

 

S.C. Fast Corporation S.R.L. was granted the right to use 10,000 geographic numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for fixed telephony services in Constanta county.

 

Following the purchase of the entire stock of PC-Net Data Network, Romania Data Systems S.A. took over the numbering resources of PC-Net Data Network as well as the rights and obligations resulting from their use. Therefore, Romania Data Systems took over 500,000 geographic numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for fixed telephony services and 3000 numbers for the provision of various services within the 0Z=08 domain. The individual carrier selection codes used by PC-Net Data Network have been vacated.

 

At present, Romania Data Systems S.A. uses 1,080,000 numbers within the 0Z=03 domain, 7000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain and 3000 numbers within the 0Z=09 domain.
