Cancellation of payment obligations owed to ANCOM's budget can be requested until 19 December 2024

Following the adoption of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 132/2024 for the amendment and completion of Law no. 227/2015 on the Fiscal Code and for the completion of Law no. 207/2015 on the Fiscal Procedure Code, as well as for the amendment and completion of certain normative acts, the deadline by which the beneficiaries of the measures for the cancellation of some budgetary obligations can submit the cancellation request has been extended until 19 December 2024.
For the implementation of these measures, ANCOM issued the Decision of the President of ANCOM no. 775/2024 on the application of the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 132/2024 for amending and supplementing Law no. 227/2015 on the Fiscal Procedure Code, as well as for amending and supplementing certain normative acts within the Procedure for the cancellation of payment obligations owed to the budget of the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications, approved by the Decision of the President of the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications no. 694/2024.
Thus, until 19 December 2024, interested providers can request the cancellation of budgetary obligations owed to ANCOM by submitting a standard form to the Authority's registry or by mail - by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by e-mail, signed with a digital certificate - to the registraturaonline@ancom.ro. The conditions for granting the cancellation of payment obligations owed to ANCOM's budget are those provided for in Article 4 of the procedure.
