Daniel Kapusy completed his graduate studies and graduated with Honors MSc from the Faculty of Engineering of University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and continued his post-graduate education with prestigiuos governmental and private continuos educational institutions such as the Canadian Quality Management Institute, the Ministry of Transport Canada Flight Academy, the Department of Communications of the Government of Canada, London Management Consultants or Avaya University of Budapest. He started his career in 1989, as a Quality Control Manager within M.A. Seel Inc. and held a variety of high responsibility positions, such as Emergency Rescue Services Pilot with the city of Calgary (CFD Med-Evac) Air Services, Co Founder and Technology Manager with InterBit Inc., a joint venture focused on emerging technologies like eCommerce, Smart Card Systems and Internet Related Services in CEE. In 1997, he became a Director for Business Development for CE/SE Europe Division of the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) , EE&CA Regional Office Viena, where - among others – he established strategic partnerships and networks in the region and defined/coordinated the regional SCO Public Affairs and Corporate Communication Programs, increasing awareness of SCO IT solutions to decision-makers. Between 2000 and 2002, Daniel Kapusy held the position of Government Solutions Director CE/SE Europe within Avaya/Lucent Technologies (former AT&T), where he worked with central government agencies in Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria to understand and help with their ICT development plans and business stragegy as well as to recognize key country industry sales opportunities in the filed of telco equipment. Subsequently, Daniel Kapusy was appointed District Manager, (PA Group), within Hewlett Packard Hungary, where he defined a country industry business plan of over USD 12M outlining strategy and tactics, focusing on industry specific solutions based on cross Business Group cooperation, developed and managed businss relationships with several major government accounts in order to position HP as a trusted advisor and a long term strategic IT partner. Since November 2003, Daniel Kapusy has been an International Business Development Manager and Managing Consultant within AAM ICT Consulting Group Budapest, Hungary, where he is in charge of expanding the Group’s ICT consulting business in the region with focus on the next wave of accession countries (Bulgaria, Romania) being responsible for an EUR5.7M in country revenue with a planned 10% per year international growth in the CEE/SEE region. |
