The President of the National Regulatory Authority for Communications, Mr. Dan Cristian Georgescu, delivered a speech on Tuesday, October 18,  2005, during the „International Broadband Communications Conference”, organised under the aegis of the Commission for Information Technology of the Chamber of Deputies, in collaboration with ANRC.

The ANRC President highlighted the main figures on the electronic communications market as of June, 2005, gave details on their development and presented the guidelines of the regulatory activity for the Romanian market of electronic communications.

Beside the ANRC President, the opening session of the conference enjoyed the presence of high representatives of the Ministry for Communications and Information Technology, of the European Commission, of the General Inspectorate for Communications and Information Technology, as well as of the Commission for Information Technology of the Chamber of Deputies.
