The National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) will organize, on 22 October 2019, in Bucharest, its annual international conference, this year dedicated to a topic which has become more and more important, with the increasing take-up of mobile services: coverage maps. The event will take at the Palace of Parliament, starting from 09.00 am.

The objective is to launch ANCOM’s mobile coverage map, a tool developed by the Romanian regulator as a response to the increased appetite of Romanian users for mobile services, which triggered the need for highly-accessible, independent and reliable information on the quality and extent of mobile coverage.

The conference, themed “A golden compass for the end-users in an interconnected world” aims to bring together, during two engaging sessions, policy-makers, representatives of regulatory authorities from across the world, operators and other stakeholders.

Participation in the audience is free of charge, based on invitation and upon on-line registration. Seats are limited and will be occupied in order of registration.

Please note that, due to security reasons, access in the Palace of Parliament building will be granted based on your ID card or passport. Unregistered participants will not be able to enter the building. Thus, please make sure you have registered using the online form on this website. Firm deadline is 17 October 2019.
