Between June 1 – 3, 2007, the President of ANRCTI, Dan Georgescu, participated in Athens in the conference “Exploring the Global Dynamics of Broadband Internet”, organised by the Greek Commission for Telecommunications and Post.

The conference was also attended by the European Commissioner for Information Society and Media, Viviane Reding, the Greek Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Michalis Liapis, the Greek Minister for Development, Dimitris Sioufas, as well as the Greek Minister for Mass-media, Theodoros Roussopoulos. The event gathered representatives of European ministries and regulatory authorities and of international organisations in the electronic communications field, as well as representatives of the academic community, of the market and of certain non-governmental organisations.
