Background:

On March 29th, 2011, the plaintiff S.C. IRISTEL ROMANIA S.R.L (hereinafter Iristel) filed a complaint with ANCOM against the respondent S.C. VODAFONE ROMANIA S.A. (hereinafter Vodafone).

The plaintiff asked ANCOM to impose on the respondent the obligation to conclude an agreement which would ensure the access of Vodafone users to the services offered by means of the numbering of the following types, allotted to Iristel: 0903 xxx xxx (numbers for Premium Rate services – various information, entertainment, games and contests), 0800.360.xxx (numbers for various services – freephone numbers) and 0808.360.xxx (numbers for indirect access to services over prepaid or virtual cards).

The case was closed as the plaintiff renounced at the complaint filed against Vodafone.
